Work with the MoviePro Agent

Ask in plain words: the Agent finds the right page, explains it, or does the job for you.

Free to ask; anything it generates costs the usual credits

The MoviePro Agent can do nearly everything the app can: write a script, direct a shot list, render shots, edit your timeline, publish. When you're not sure where something is, ask it first.

Open it anywhere

Press ⌘J (Ctrl+J on Windows) or click Ask MoviePro at the bottom right. Open full page gives it the whole screen with a Conversations sidebar. On an empty chat, the quick actions (Plan a short film, Compose a soundtrack, Record a voiceover, Find B-roll…) are good starting points.

Three ways to use it

  1. Ask how. "How do I lip-sync a clip?" It answers with the exact buttons and offers to take you there.
  2. Ask it to do it. "Write a 2-minute comedy script about two rival food trucks" or "Make the second clip half speed and add a cross dissolve". It works on the open project and shows the result as a card.
  3. Give it references. Attach images, video, audio, PDFs or Word files with the paperclip, paste or drag and drop (up to 6 files a message). Attached media also goes into your library.

It asks before it spends

Anything that spends a lot of credits, deletes, publishes or emails someone shows a Confirm card first, with the cost. Nothing happens until you click it. Running generations show a progress card with Cancel (refunded), and finished media has Timeline, Save to library and Publish buttons.

Good habits

  • Name the project you mean, or open it first.
  • After a timeline edit you don't like, ask it to undo.
  • It reads your project's standing Instructions from Look & Instructions, so put house rules there ("always 9:16", "no on-screen text") instead of repeating them.
