Voice, music and sound
Voiceover, voice clones, dubbing, a score with stems, and sound effects for a single clip.
- Where
- Voice Studio
- Cost
- Voiceover 1 credit per 1,000 characters; music 2–11 a track; sound 2
MoviePro makes the four layers of a soundtrack: voice, dialogue fixes, music and effects.
Voiceover
On Voice Studio, scroll to Make a voiceover → Text to speech:
- Paste the Script (up to 5,000 characters).
- Pick a Voice (Preview voice plays a sample) and a Speed. MiniMax voices also have Delivery: Calm, Happy, Sad, Angry and more.
- Click Generate speech, then Add to Library to use it in the editor.
Clone a voice makes a voice from a 1–3 minute sample (5 credits). Only clone voices you have permission to use.
Dub into another language
Dub a video translates a clip's speech into one of 16 languages (15 credits). You get a new audio track, not a new video: put it under the clip on the timeline, then lip-sync the clip if the mouths need to match.
Music
Music Generators has a card per model. Open one, describe the cue, set Duration and an optional Genre (and Lyrics for singing models), then Generate Music. On a result, Split into stems (3 credits) gives you vocals, drums, bass and other as separate files: useful for dropping the drums under dialogue.
Sound effects for one clip
In the editor, select a clip → Inspector → Audio → Generate sound for this clip. Describe it or pick a chip (Footsteps on gravel, Door slams, City ambience, Rain on window), then Add alongside or Replace clip's sound (2 credits).
Clean up speech
Isolate Voice (3 credits) in the same panel removes music and noise from a dialogue clip.
