Break the script down
Turn scenes into shots and characters into cast elements, straight from the script.

- Free, or 1 credit for the AI breakdown
A breakdown lists what every scene needs: who's in it, where it is, what props and wardrobe it uses. In MoviePro the breakdown also feeds the shot list and the cast, so you don't type anything twice.
Fill the Scenes panel
The Scenes panel on the right shows each scene's INT/EXT, time of day, location, Characters, Props, Wardrobe, VFX / Special, Notes and Estimated pages.
- Analyze script (free) fills it from your scene headings.
- AI → AI breakdown (scenes, shots, cast) (1 credit) reads the whole script and fills in the rest.
Send the shots to the shot list
After the AI breakdown, MoviePro asks Send N shots to the shot list?
- Add to empty scenes keeps any shots you've already planned.
- Replace those scenes starts those scenes over.
- Not now leaves the shot list alone.
Create the cast from the script
Open Cast & Elements and click Create from script. It reuses the breakdown you just made, lists every character and location, and skips the ones marked Already exists. Tick the ones you want and click Create N elements. Track 3 shows how to give them faces and voices.
Check the numbers
The Report view (or Script Report in the sidebar) shows pages, estimated runtime, scenes, speaking roles, locations, the split of dialogue and action, and the longest scenes. For a short film, a page is roughly a minute: if the report says nine minutes and you planned three, cut now, not after you've paid to render it.
