Credits, plans and your own keys
What costs credits, what's free, how refunds work, and how to bring your own provider keys.

- Free
Most of MoviePro is free to use: writing, planning, editing and exporting cost nothing. Credits pay for AI generation, and every paid button tells you its price before you click.
Where to see your balance
The Credits card in the sidebar shows your balance (it says Low at 10 or fewer) with Top up. Discover's Usage and billing has your plan, credit History and Payments.
Plans
| Plan | Price | Credits each month | Adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 50 | Open models, the full editor and pre-production, 3 projects |
| Pro | $29 | 500 | Premium generators, unlimited projects, API and MCP |
| Studio | $99 | 2,500 | Team collaboration |
Monthly credits don't roll over. Credit packs never expire.
Rough prices
- Images and storyboard panels: 2–3 credits each.
- AI writing (draft, breakdown, AI director): 1 credit.
- Video: per second, from about 1 credit (Wan 3.0) to 17 (Cinema Studio 4.0). A 5-second shot is usually 5–45 credits.
- Music: 2–11 credits a track. Voiceover: 1 credit per 1,000 characters.
If a generation fails, the credits are refunded automatically.
Spend less while you learn
- Draft shots on a cheap model, then re-render the keepers on a premium one.
- Use storyboard frames to agree on composition before you spend on video.
- Save your own Replicate or ElevenLabs key under Settings → Provider keys: runs on those keys cost 0 MoviePro credits and the provider bills you directly.
- Invite a friend on Discover gives you a referral link that earns bonus credits.
