Plan the shots
The shot list is the plan every render follows: shots, continuity, dialogue and sound.
- Where
- Shot List
- Cost
- Free; 1 credit for the AI director
Generate Shots renders exactly what the shot list says, so this is where a film is made or lost. A full row gets you a usable clip; a vague one gets the model's guess.
Fill the list
Shots arrive from the script breakdown, from Deconstruct, or from AI director. The director has three sources: Concept, Script draft or This shot list (keeps your shots and fills in prompt, camera, length and elements). Set Target length (seconds), Style and Pacing, then Direct · 1 credit.
AI coverage adds the standard angles for one scene: describe it, set its length, Generate coverage, tick the shots and Add N Shots.
Set scene continuity once
Each scene has a Scene continuity bar: location, time of day, weather, season, era, Wardrobe & look, Blocking, Set & props, and a Location element whose images go with every shot in the scene. Fill it, and Generate Shots won't warn about missing continuity.
Edit a shot
Edit shot opens every field:
| Field | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Clip length (s) / Screen time (s) | What to render, and how much of it the edit uses |
| Description / Generation prompt | What happens, and the prompt sent to the model |
| Cast & elements in frame | Whose reference images go with it |
| Dialogue | One line per speaker, as NAME: line |
| Sound | Effects and ambience |
| Starting image / Ending image | Exact first and last frames |
| Reference images | Extra references for this shot only |
Models with native audio (Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, LTX-2.3 Pro) speak the dialogue and make the sound. Clips are generated without music: the score goes on in the edit.
Watch the pace
The header's Pace shows average shot length, cuts per minute and runtime. Treat it as a guide, not a quota: an action scene and a confession shouldn't cut at the same rate.
