Dialogue that lands
Get generated characters to say the right words, check every line, and fix the ones that slip.

- Cost
- Fixes from about 1 credit a line; lip sync 2 credits a second
Native-audio models can speak your lines in the shot, but they slur and swap words more often than they get the picture wrong. MoviePro checks every line and gives you several ways to fix it.
Write lines the model can say
- Put them in the shot's Dialogue field, one line per speaker: SAL: You're late.
- Keep each line short. One or two sentences per shot.
- Give characters a voice in Cast & Elements so they sound the same in every shot.
- Use a native-audio model: Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1 or LTX-2.3 Pro.
Read the dialogue check
After rendering, each clip with dialogue is transcribed and compared with the script. Problems show on the row: "Dialogue check: heard … for …". Hover for the full transcript.
Choose the right fix
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Slurred or garbled line | Redo for another take: the usual fix |
| Wrong words, but the picture is good | In the editor, select the clip → Inspector → Audio → Fix dialogue |
| Mouth doesn't match new words | Inspector → Effects → Give this clip a line, then Lip sync |
| Right words, bad sound | Fix dialogue → Re-voice as is |
Note that From take on Seedance 2.5 remakes a shot from the current clip and copies its sound as well, so it keeps framing and motion but does not fix a misspoken line.
Fix dialogue in the editor
- Select the clip, open Audio, and click Transcribe the clip (1 credit).
- Pick a Voice (a clone of the actor is best), then edit a line's words or press Re-voice as is.
- Click Regenerate N fixes. It costs about 3 credits a scene plus 1 per changed line.
