Storyboard it

Frames for every shot, drawn in order so sets and staging stay consistent.

3 credits per panel

A storyboard frame costs 3 credits; a video take can cost 40. Agreeing the composition on a frame first is the cheapest way to get the shot you meant.

Make the frames

  1. Open Storyboard and click Import from shot list. You get one frame per shot (re-importing updates instead of duplicating).
  2. Choose the frame style: Image or Hand-drawn, and how many Panels per shot (1–4, the shot's action in sequence).
  3. Click Generate missing (N). Stop halts a run.

Frames are made one at a time in board order. Each sees the previous frame and the scene's first frame, and named characters are drawn from their Cast & Elements sheets, so the set and staging carry through the scene.

Fix what's wrong

  • Generate AI frame / Draw frame redoes one frame; Upload image uses your own.
  • Draw scene / Generate scene redraws a whole scene in order, after telling you the cost.
  • A frame tagged Shot deleted lost its shot; a wrong-shape frame offers Regenerate at {ratio}.

Switch between Grid view and Strip view; in Strip view Edit frame changes the scene, shot, action, dialogue and notes.

Image or hand-drawn?

  • Image frames can become the clip's first frame when you animate from them.
  • Hand-drawn frames go to Seedance as a staging guide (framing, blocking, action), never as the look. The look comes from your style references, so keep Apply project look on when you generate.

Share it

Export prints the board or saves it as a PDF for the crew or a client.
