Set the look

One style guide, palette and set of instructions applied to every frame and shot.

Free; 2 credits per generated mood-board image

Without a look, every generated shot is styled by the model's defaults and the film looks like a compilation. Look & Instructions is the project's style guide, applied automatically to storyboard frames, Generate shots, Video Studio and AI writing tools.

Collect references on the Mood Board

  1. Open Mood Board → Add image for references you have, choosing a Category (Tone & Mood, Lighting, Color Palette, Costumes, Locations, References).
  2. Or Generate references: describe the Look and feel, choose 1–4 images (2 credits each).
  3. Build a Project palette with the colour picker and +.

Write the style guide

On Look & Instructions, fill the Style panel:

  • Style prompt: the film's look in a sentence or two (stock, era, light, grade). "Shot on 35mm, overcast northern light, muted teal and rust palette, soft contrast".
  • Negative prompt: what to avoid ("no lens flares, no text").
  • Palette & grade notes: click Add mood board palette to pull in your swatches.

Then add up to 8 Style references from the mood board (Import from mood board), a style element, or Upload. A photo of your main location with no people in it is one of the most useful.

Standing instructions and render settings

  • General instructions → Instructions is a brief sent with every AI request for the project, the Agent included.
  • Render settings sets the default Video model, Resolution, Film aspect ratio (this also sets the editor timeline) and Generated audio.

Turning it off for one shot

A flashback or a screen insert may need a different look: tick Ignore the project look for this shot in that shot's editor.
