Find your way around

MoviePro is one app with many pages. Once you know how the sidebar is organised and how projects work, you'll never lose a script or a shot list.

The sidebar follows the filmmaking order

The icon rail on the left opens a section; each section has its pages:

Jump to… at the top of the panel searches every page, which is often faster than clicking.

Projects hold everything

1. Click the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar, then New project (or New project on Discover). The Free plan allows 3 projects.
2. Open a project from the switcher or from a Projects card on Discover. A card's … menu has Rename, Duplicate and Delete.

The Project pill

The script, shot list, storyboard, look, mood board, schedule, pitch deck and Cast & Elements all belong to a project. Each of those pages has a Project · {name} pill in its header: click it to choose which project you're working on, or No project.

Two things trip people up:

• The choice is per browser tab, and opening a project in the editor does not change it. Check the pill before you start writing.
• If you worked before choosing a project, a banner offers Move my unassigned … into this project. Use it.

Workspaces

Workspaces group projects, for example one per client. Switcher → New workspace → name it → Create. Inviting members (Members → email → Member or Admin → Add) needs the Studio plan.
