Script to video
Turn your script into video, shot by shot.
To turn a script into video with AI, break the screenplay into shots, give the model references for each character, generate each shot as a short clip, then assemble the clips in order. MoviePro does each step from the script itself: it reads your scene headings, proposes shots, storyboards them, generates them with the cast's references and lays them out on a timeline.
How it works
From screenplay to video in MoviePro
1. Bring in your script
Write in the Script Editor or import from Final Draft, Word, PDF or Fountain. Scene headings, action and dialogue are what the next steps read, so keep it in screenplay format.

2. Break it into shots
Analyze script (free) fills the scene list from your headings. The AI breakdown (1 credit) proposes shots for each scene, with shot size, camera, length, cast and dialogue, and sends them to the Shot List.
3. Design the cast and the look
Make each character an element with reference images (2 credits a view) and set one look (style, palette, negative prompt) for every shot. The references go with each shot you generate, so the same face and the same world carry through the film.
4. Storyboard every shot
Import from shot list draws one frame per shot (3 credits each). Each frame sees the previous one and the scene's first frame, so sets and staging carry through a scene. Agree the composition on a still before paying for video.
5. Generate the shots
Run the whole shot list through one video model: a cheap one such as Wan 3.0 to test the plan, then Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 or Kling 3.0 for finals with sound. Every row shows the references it sends. Failed generations are refunded, and takes with dialogue are transcribed and checked against the script.
6. Assemble the video
Assemble clips to timeline lays every take out in script order and trims each to its planned screen time. Then cut, add sound and music, and export MP4 up to 4K or vertical for social.
Why MoviePro
One project, from first draft to final cut.
- The shot list is built from your script, so every shot traces back to a scene and a line.
- Dialogue from the script goes with each shot, and takes are transcribed and checked against it.
- A dozen video models from different labs in one place, priced per second in credits, so each shot can use the model that suits it.
- A real multi-track timeline with sound, grade and export, not a clip stitcher.

FAQ
Questions
Can AI turn a script into a video?
Yes, shot by shot. Current video models generate clips of up to about 30 seconds, so a script becomes a list of short shots that are generated separately and edited together. Tools that promise a whole film from one prompt are doing the same thing with less control over each shot.
Does the script need to be in screenplay format?
It helps. Scene headings tell MoviePro where scenes start and where they're set, character cues mark who speaks, and action lines describe what the camera sees. Write only what can be seen or heard: a thought can't be generated, a gesture can.
How do the characters stay the same from shot to shot?
Each character is an element with reference images, and the references go with every shot that character is in. Models such as Seedance 2.5 take up to 30 reference images. A storyboard frame can also become a shot's first frame.
Will the dialogue match my script?
Models with native audio (Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0) speak the lines from the shot. They sometimes slur or swap words, so MoviePro transcribes every take with dialogue and flags lines that don't match; you can re-voice a line without regenerating the shot.
What does it cost?
New accounts get 10 free credits once; there is no free plan. After that you buy credit packs, which never expire, or subscribe to Pro or Studio for monthly credits. Writing, planning, editing and exporting cost nothing; you pay credits only for AI generation and AI tools.
